------------------------------- | INTRODUCTION | ------------------------------- Note : if you encounter problems, read ./doc/probleminstall.txt There are 3 steps : - compile and install netwox [if not already installed] - install Tcl/Tk >= 8.0 [if not already installed] - create and install netwag ------------------------------ | STEP 1 : netwox | ------------------------------ If netwox isn't installed on your system, you have to do it : http://www.laurentconstantin.com/ (main server) http://go.to/laurentconstantin/ (backup server) http://laurentconstantin.est-la.com/ (backup server) Installation procedure for netwox is explained in downloaded files. ------------------------------- | STEP 2 : Tcl/Tk | ------------------------------- Tcl/Tk is a script programming language. Netwag is written is Tcl/Tk 8. You have to install Tcl/Tk version >= 8.0 : - http://www.tcl.tk/ - from packages for your system (look the cdrom or website of your distribution ; generally, there are two packages : tcl... and tk...) If you have a problem downloading or installing read Tcl/Tk doc. If you still have a problem, contact Tcl/Tk's developers. I cannot help you, because I do not maintain this code. ----------------------------- | STEP 3 : netwag | ----------------------------- - "cd src" (to go in source directory) - ./genemake (to generate Makefile) - "make" (to create netwag) - edit netwag (to eventually modify top variables) - "make install" (to install netwag. You need to be root to achieve this command)
